President Mattarella welcomed Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain on their State Visit

The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, received Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain at the Quirinale Palace while on their State Visit to Italy.

President Mattarella greeted His Majesty King Felipe VI with military honours in the Quirinale Palace’s Courtyard of Honour. Following the presentation of their respective official delegations in the Bronzino Room, President Mattarella and King Felipe VI had a meeting, at the end of which they released a statement to the press in the Hall of Mirrors.

The event was attended by the Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani.
